My Story
My name is Anita, and I’m the voice behind Read with Papierfeder. I’m a dog mom, bibliophile, bookish escape artist, and lover of a simple, joy-filled life.
About eight years ago, I fell back in love with reading and have been unwinding through books ever since. I’m originally from Switzerland, and my first language is German. Over time, I developed a passion for the English language and enjoy reading books in both English and German.
The name Read with Papierfeder reflects this blend of languages and intertwines my love of books and my roots. Here, you’ll find honest book reviews, thoughtful reading recommendations, and personal reflections for fellow book lovers.
Why did I start this blog?
I wanted to share my passion for books and the stories I read. One of my goals in starting this blog was to develop my review skills and connect more deeply with books. I also wanted to offer my own honest perspective and voice while engaging with fellow readers. I hope to have great discussions about our favorite books.
